The teen content creator has big dreams and ambitions which include moving into the entrepreneurial and real estate space. Her relatability and ability to translate her vision into action is what makes her a fan favourite! Read on to learn more about Symonne Harrison and her endeavours!

Where are you based?
I’m based in the land of palm trees and Hollywood dreams — Los Angeles!

How did you get into acting?
I’ve been a performer from a young age! When I was seven, I got signed to an acting and modeling agency in Cleveland, Ohio (shoutout to my hometown!). From there, I never looked back and have been pursuing my passion for acting ever since. It’s been an incredible journey, and I can’t wait to see where it takes me next!

Can you tell us a bit about your new show Crown Lake?
Yes! So, Crown Lake is my new show, and it’s a total must-watch if you’re into drama and mystery. I play the lead role of Molly, and it was seriously such a dream come true to bring her character to life on screen. But here’s the best part, the cast and crew felt like a big family while we were filming for a few months. So yeah, the show is fantastic, but the memories and friendships I made on set are priceless.

As a teen actor content creator, what challenges you the most?
Being a teen actor and content creator has its challenges! I think the biggest one for me is balancing everyday teenage life with being in the public eye. It can be tough to find that sweet spot, you know? And then there’s the challenge of constantly switching up my content to keep things fresh and exciting while staying true to who I am and what I love. But at the end of the day, it’s all about finding that balance and staying true to yourself, and that’s what makes it all worth it!

Where do you see yourself a few years down the line?
Okay, so if you asked me where I see myself a few years later, here’s what I’m thinking: First and foremost, I’ll continue my acting career (fingers crossed!). But get this, as soon as I turn 18, I plan on getting my real estate license. I know it’s a little unexpected, but I’m excited to dive into the property world and see where that takes me. Plus, my makeup line, ‘Ennomys Beauty’ will be in retail stores by then (how cool is that?), and I have a few more business ideas I can’t wait to pursue. So yeah, watch out, world, because I’m just starting!

Who/ what inspires you the most?
This is such a good question! Regarding inspiration, I must say that my biggest motivators are the people around me. My supporters, family, friends, and boyfriend are constantly pushing me to grow and be a better person every day. Whether cheering me on from the sidelines, giving me tough love when I need it, or listening when I need to vent, they are always there for me. So yeah, I must credit my crew — they’re the real MVPs!

You have recently launched a beauty and clothing brand. What made you get into the entrepreneurial space? Is this something you look forward to expanding into?
I recently launched my own beauty and clothing brand, and it’s been such an incredible journey so far. But not many people know I created my first product when I was just six years old. It was called ‘Bear on the Chair’. It was a teddy bear that sat on your chair and kept you company while you worked (totally cute, right?). I’ve always had a creative mindset and been interested in business. There’s something so intriguing about the behind-the-scenes stuff — margins, sales, percentages, you name it! So yeah, creating my products and companies is something I look forward to expanding into. Who knows where it will take me, but I’m ready for the ride!

We’d love to know more about ‘Ennomys’! We heard the name is derived from spelling yours backwards! What was the idea behind starting the brand?
Ooh, I’m so excited to talk about Ennomys! The name is my name spelled backward — cool, right? I’ve had the idea for the name sitting in my notes for about five years now, and when I started brainstorming ideas for my makeup line, I knew it was perfect. I wanted something unique and personal, and I love how Ennomys has that special meaning behind it. Plus, it just sounds so catchy and fun!

How would you describe Gen Z fashion? Is Gen Z an easy market to cater to?
Gen Z fashion is about being unique, expressive, and unapologetically ourselves. It’s constantly changing and evolving, which I think is what makes it so exciting. As someone who’s part of Gen Z, I know what trends are in right now and what my peers are into. But at the same time, it can be a bit unpredictable — what’s popular one day might be totally out the next. So, I’d say catering to Gen Z is a challenge, but it’s also a super fun and rewarding market.

We love that Ennomys has also expanded into vegan beauty! How would you place Ennomys in an industry filled with existing vegan and cruelty free beauty brands? What makes you stand out?
Something that makes me stand out is I’m a creator lead brand! I’m always buying products to support my fellow creators because some people think starting a business is easy, but it takes a lot of hard work and courage.

Why was it important to you that all your beauty products be vegan, cruelty-free, and FDA and EU-approved?
As a makeup enthusiast and animal lover, I needed to create a brand that aligned with my values. I wanted to ensure that all my products were high-quality and effective but also ethical and sustainable. That’s why I decided to go vegan and cruelty-free and to ensure that all my products are FDA and EU-approved. I think it’s crucial to be mindful of what we’re putting on our skin and bodies and make choices that are good for both us and the planet. Plus, so many unique vegan and cruelty-free ingredients are just as effective (if not more!) than their non-vegan counterparts. So, for me, it was a no-brainer to make Ennomys a brand about clean, ethical beauty.

What is your current favorite product?
My favorite product is my mascara! I spent months testing different formulas and brushes to ensure it was just right, and I’m so happy with how it turned out. It adds so much length and volume to my lashes without clumping or flaking. Plus, it’s vegan and cruelty-free, so I feel good about using it daily. I can’t wait for everyone to try it out!

It has been a rough few years, how have you been staying positive during these times?
The past few years have been challenging, but I’ve found reassurance in channeling my emotions into my creative goals. Whether it’s developing content, creating new products, or working on future business endeavors, I find that the act of creation helps me stay positive. Additionally, I enjoy sharing aspects of my life with my supporters to help them feel less isolated. Finally, spending quality time with my family has been a tremendous source of joy and support.

What is your motto in life?
My motto is to always think in terms of “when” instead of “if”. Using “if” can create an opportunity for doubt or a chance to back out of something you’ve set your mind to. By manifesting “when” I feel more motivated and determined to accomplish the goals, I’ve set for myself. It helps me stay focused and optimistic, knowing that success is a matter of time and effort.
