Born and raised in Mexico in the city of Culiacán, Sinaloa. Nadia’s mother often designed and sewed the clothes for her and her siblings. Her mother's teaching at the age of six sparked her interest in fashion.
Today, Nadia serves as the founder and CEO of Nadia Manjarrez Bridal. The Mexican-based bridal atelier offers versatile, modular, and customizable gowns that will seamlessly transition the bride from ceremony to reception. Seeking to empower women in her community, Nadia exclusively employs Mexican female heads of households to make each one of her designs.
Nadia launched her collection four years ago and has since grown the brand from her studio in Culiacan, Mexico, to being carried in over a dozen bridal boutiques across the US and internationally. Her designs have been worn on the red carpet by celebrities, including Kit Hoover at the Oscars. She is now celebrating the opening of her new and larger NYC bridal showroom, and will debut her latest bridal collection at the NY Bridal Market next month.
