The Unfuck America Tour Inspires Young Voters
Sometimes you have to take matters into your own hands! When the democrats weren’t responding to the tours Charlie Kirk were taking to college campuses the National Ground Game Team stepped in. Traveling to college campuses across the country, the Unfuck America Tour is inspiring young voters, shifting perspectives, and directly fighting the propaganda conservative organizations like Turning Point USA are spreading. Where are you based?
I’m based in rural Nevada, in a small town just outside Death Valley.
What inspired The Unfuck America Tour?
In February of last year, I realized I could no longer stand Charlie Kirk. As a political operative for over a decade, I had been following him and his work building TPUSA. Youth organizing wasn’t my specialty, and I had hoped the Democratic Party would launch a serious counter to TPUSA, but it never happened.
So I decided to experiment. In April, we brought 35 Democratic influencers to Charlie’s college campus tour at Texas A&M University, and together we generated over 200 million views, far more than Charlie could have imagined. From there, we built our infrastructure with college chapters, canvassing, postcards, phone banking, and launching our own college campus tour across the country.
What are the core principles behind your organization?
We believe the Democratic Party has lost the youth vote, especially young men and working-class voters, because of over-intellectualizing simple platform positions, not showing strength, and tone policing. Our principles align with the Democratic Party, but our difference is in how we deliver the message.
How is Turning Point USA’s mission damaging, and why is it important to fight their messaging? How are you the opposite of TPUSA?
TPUSA spreads propaganda riddled with inconsistencies, hypocrisy, and lies. They are particularly successful because of their electoral strategy and college campus chapters. If we permanently lose the youth vote, Democrats are in trouble, because this is a demographic that should reliably vote for our candidates. We are the opposite of TPUSA because we fight to win back Democratic voters, while they focus on expanding the Republican base.
Why is a tour like this so important for 2026?
This tour should have started 10 years ago, but now is the time to make a difference. Democracy is on the line. Trump is pulling people off the air, like James Talarico, because he fears Texas flipping blue. Kristi Noem is threatening voter suppression. Voter intimidation is inevitable this midterm election, and it is our responsibility to ensure free and fair elections while expanding the electorate. College campuses have some of the lowest voter turnout, and engaging them can make a huge difference in swing districts across the country.
What do you hope to achieve with The Unfuck America Tour?
I hope to overtake TPUSA’s infrastructure quickly. Our only limitation is funding. In just the first year, we accomplished 100 times more than Charlie Kirk, but we are starting over a decade behind. I hope the tour continues to go viral to raise funds and channel them into flipping critical districts.
Why is it important to get younger generations involved in politics?
Younger generations need to be prepared to run for office and engage deeply in the democratic process. If they don’t, we risk a hard turn toward fascism. They must not only vote but participate actively in ways we have never done before.
How do you inspire young voters?
Most campuses we visit have not had a Democrat speak in over a decade, sometimes ever. Republicans have built a strong pipeline that engages young people from digital media to grassroots action. Seeing our tour on campus shows students that the Democratic Party is alive and fighting.
How does your organization utilize social media as a change-making tool?
We are not afraid to challenge prominent Republican creators, media personalities, and politicians online. We generate our own virality by pushing their buttons, forcing them to respond, and drawing attention to the issues and candidates we support.
How do you combat red pill content?
We confront it directly with facts. When Democrats like Destiny and Adam Mockler debate red pill creators, it becomes clear who is telling the truth. While it may not immediately change minds, it plants seeds that gradually shift perspectives.
Why are intellectual political debates important on college campuses? How do they impact undecided voters?
Debates give students a chance to engage deeply with ideas and hear reasoned arguments. These conversations expose them to evidence and perspectives they might not otherwise encounter, which often influences undecided voters’ eventual decisions.
How are your debates different from Charlie Kirk’s?
Charlie Kirk’s debates were mostly staged clip farming. Ours are longer-form conversations aimed at changing minds, not just going viral. We prioritize authentic discussion over short clips.
Outside of National Ground Game, what organizations should people pay attention to? How can they get involved?
Give your time and money to election protection organizations. They will be fighting in court, counting ballots, and defending democracy. Recommended groups include NAACP, ACLU, Let America Vote, and the League of Women Voters.
Advice for young people who cannot yet vote but want to get involved?
It is never too early to volunteer. Figure out your interests and match them to campaign needs. Love writing? Campaigns need email writers. Love talking to people? Knock doors. Love photography? Offer your skills to campaigns.

Predictions for the midterm elections?
I hope Democrats dominate the midterms, flipping swing states and winning key dream states like Texas, Ohio, and Florida. To make that happen, we all need to be active in voter outreach.
How can readers get involved?
Volunteer on our college campus tour, support candidates in swing districts, and contribute to election protection groups. Get involved early, bring others in, and help protect our democracy.
How have you stayed positive during turbulent times?
As a millennial, I have seen a lot, but I believe our only choice is to fight for our country. I feel positive seeing young people who care deeply and act to make a difference. I also believe it is always darkest just before the light turns on.
Motto in life:
"I wanted you to see what real courage is, instead of getting the idea that courage is a man with a gun in his hand. It is when you know you are licked before you begin, but you begin anyway and see it through no matter what." I live by this Atticus Finch quote.
