In a time where mass art and music is repetitive and safe, Samuel Jack is a breath of fresh air. Seemingly a kinder spirit, Samuel soulfully sings about the world in a real and honest way, that I can genuinely tell you I have been hunting for for a long time. His song “Refugee” brings tears to my eyes every time I listen to it, and “We Are The Future” inspires me to get out there and do good. It is a good thing that everyone in New York City is a little crazy so they don’t bat an eye while I march down the street cryingly, angrily, dancing to his bluesy rhythm. With Valery’s Puerto Rican heritage at the forefront, she promotes the celebration of individualism and self love. Varley’s notable works don’t stop there. Article22 Will Blow Your Mind With Their Peacebomb Collection!

It is designers like Article22 that really make me thankful for starting Jejune, which lets me be aware of and share with the world these amazing people! Article22 goes to Laos and takes the old bomb scrapinal from the Vietnam war and, while working with the local artisans, turns it into beautiful jewelry. They then sell this jewelry and help the communities in Laos come back from the incredible amount of damage this war had on it’s people. What a beautiful idea. I don’t think I need to say more.
